A bientôt
xxx

Hello the World =)
First, welcome to my new followers...that's so great to be able to write those words too hehehehe =D
Some times ago I told you about my last stitches of 2012, that I offered to a very good friend here for her Xmas and birthday beginning of January
My book Le Japon au Point de Croix had a great success in her family =)
She wanted 4 special designs, her younger daughter 4 others and her older daughter (Marie for who I made the Beatrix Potter box last year...) another one a little bigger !
Lot's of stitches but at the same time it's so great that friends and relatives are eager to have some of my creations =D

First, I started the French part, by showing a tiny figurine...
My cousin was the lucky winner of the lucky charm in the King's cake, and when she discovered it, she put it in an envelope that she sent me =D
Isn't she so tiny and perfect ?
I put it besides a thimble to show you...
Thank you very much Julia (and the picture doesn't show the hundreds of confetti she put in the envelope to wish my vacuum a happy new year =D)

Then, you saw the 4 designs my friend chose mid September, and that she wanted in frames of different sizes for her bedroom.
Super half chose the frames and the green cardboard and made the framing and the mounts
My friend found them perfect and really enjoyed her gifts =D
Then , Odile chose 4 other designs and the day she came home, she saw the pouch I made for Rita and asked me the very same =D

Those pictures are not really good :(
We can't really see that I chose a light pink Aïda, but it was !
I was really amazed myself by the lotus ! No backstitch and so very like to the real flower !
This book definitely contains many treasures
And there's no price for the stars I saw in this little girl's eyes when she discovered her pouch  =)

I still haven't found the time to stitch the bigger white cat, but I'll soon...
I had a slow beginning in January because of my eyes that I had to rest for about a week =(
The Doctor found I abused of lenses and I had a little problem ...
But now I'll stitch again as I have new glasses and that my eyes rested enough...
Maybe I'll show you my progress on Clair de Lune or another little piece I made before being prevented from needles, TV, internet....hehehehe, I still don't know
It's very snowy and cold here, I'll stay warm
Until next time....
xxxx

You take good care of those eyes of yours--where would we be as stitchers without our eyesight?

    Enjoy your weekend!!

I'll buy this fantastic book even my needles are lazy this month... And the little kokeshi???? Oh, my... I couldn't believe in my eyes. Concerning eyes, please, rest enough, ok? They are truly important to crafters, it's important to recognize the moment to rest. Hope you better soon!
