Time for a post dedicated to Gingerbread men (and women) =D
I still have pieces from 2012 to show you !
Mii inspired me a lot with her gingerbread men, and as I know here people who are fans I decided to make 3, turned into 3 different pieces
The first went to Portugal, to reach Nia =)
I used a wooden tree as for the Winter exchange to finish it
Polka dots, pompom, gingerbread man...everything gathered to please her
I finished the second design as a Xmas tree ornament, and 'she' went to South Africa to reach Cucki
Unfortunately she arrived after Xmas :(
But she carried out her mission... to bring love and smile =)
(And I don't complain, my parcel well arrived ! I still have something on the way..guess to where ?? Brazil of course :( Isabella still hasn't received what I sent her !)
And the 3rd one, as you may have seen on a picture above, was finished as a magnet.
She stayed in France and reached one of my biggest fan, my cousin =D
Those little pieces are easy and quick to make
I will try to make some during the whole year, in between biggest goals, this way I'll be able to send more things next Xmas
Ho my ! Xmas has just finished I'm already thinking of the next one =D
I started Clair de Lune
Resolution for 2013 : take pictures of my WIP....
It's well progressing and I find it really beautiful already
I still have stitches from 2012 to share here, but be patient, I still have 362 days =D
Till next time happy stitching
xxxx

Oh, I really love gingerbreads! They´re so cute! Your finishes are so amazing that I wondered you could teatch how you do them! Congrats, sweetie! Unfortunately, here in Brazil we have the worst world's post office... Instead, we have the best foreign friends ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yea!!!!!!!! =D Kisses, kisses!
RépondreSupprimerThank you so much sweetie =)
Supprimerthey are really easy to do, even if I must admit it's Hubby who cut the shapes in the felt =D
Stitching glued on felt, 2 shapes in the felt, sewn together, with a magnet glued in between...(and filled with cotton balls :D) that's all =D
you said it regarding the post office...but they won't have me this year hahahaha, I'll take 'advance' in my sending ...
lot's of big hugs for you
