A bientôt =)

Let it snow, let it snow.....
It started to snow on Monday last week, then it stopped a few days, but during the weekend (and especially Sunday) it didn't stop for the whole day !!!
There are some places around here where we have about 20 centimetres of snow =)
Sun is shinning but we have -5° and they forecast -11° for the end of the week
Cold , beautiful...but only if you don't have to drive =D
Even the birds and the rabbits don't dare to come much...they usually come (especially the rabbits) and eat everything !

Pictures are from Saturday and they don't show how high it is now =)
I'll have to go out and take some more...

So what to do then when it's cold outside ?? =)
(except doing a snowman with the children of the neighbours...what I did hehehehe ... ) to stitch of course !
I don't participate to IHSW but Sunday was as if I do...
A real hermit in my sofa with the stove on =)
I made some progress on Clair de Lune...
Since I took these pictures I progressed a little bit more and the leave around the little boy is well appearing now

Lot's of confetti stitching but I really don't regret this chart , the design is really sweet and it's a pleasure to do it =)
Even without the backstitches it's pretty
I'll be late as my new furnitures for the dinning room arrive tomorrow but anyway... I'm enjoying it
This is different from what I usually do =)
And I have to say that definitely...my favourite fabric is linen

At the same time I'm preparing my Valentine exchange for my French group...
But no picture now hehehehe =)

Just can say it's a Joan Elliott design....

Coming soon =)

In fact we have a big garden indeed, but there is no fence for the moment, we have the project to put one during the Spring
it will seem smaller then. But I must admit we really love being in the campaign ! a wood in front of the house , a field behind (with this awful mess of the farm that will be hidden later by trees =D), rabbits and birds coming, pea cocks...so great !
      It's my heaven =D
I'm enjoying Clair de Lune, even if it's brown, brown and ...brown =D
Can't wait to finish it, and it's for ME wooooooo
      big hugs sweetie

And as around our house everything has not been done yet, it's perfect with snow, we can't see the mess =D
I searched in my memory and in fact ...can't remember a time when we had so much snow !!
They forecast 11 degrees below zero for the week end , I'll stay warm and stitch, for sure =)

  15. What beautiful photographs. If you saw what the weather has done in my country. Omar seems to be upset and want to leave everything, really everything. Comes close to houses and everything. We've had waves of 20 meters and winds of 140 km. I think everything else out there is calm and beautiful. Enjoy these as much embroidery work is getting gorgeous.

  16. Oh my God my dear...soooo much snow!! I love snow, but only saw it about 2 or 3 times in my life :(
I guess that if you have to leave the house and drive or walk, so much snow it would be a problem, but if you may stay at home and watch it falling, it must be beautiful:) Here it only snows in the higher places and mountains...it's not too far from here (about 2 and a half hours) but i don't go there for many years.:(
And you took beautiful pictures...great job:)

And your stitches are soooo beautiful! Love the design and the colours...just awesome :) It appears not too easy to stitch, but you will get it done with no problem;)

Oh and i also love linen! :)

kisses my dear and have a great week;)
