Hello the World =D

November is already here and the countdown to Xmas has started
My needles and I have finally met again now that I feel better, but you know me, hehehehe, I started again secret projects and I can't show you anything for the moment :)
I can just show you the freebie from TWOC 194,  Fizzie Moon
I stitched it for a competition organised by Sandra on the French Facebook group
She wanted us to send her Xmas postcards

I know, Fizzie Moon is more an ornament than a postcard, hehehe, but I decided to make a very special card , and pined Fizzie Moon to a card I made with fabric, so that Sandra can use him in her Xmas tree =)
Don't know if my card will finish first, but I already know that Sandra loved her very much and was very happy with it, that the most important to me =)
I'm still very late with my mystery SAL, part 5 arrived yesterday and I still haven't finished part 3 :-/
But I know I'll finish it on time (when part 12 will arrive...)

Then as  I haven't any other craft or stitching to show here... it's time to show you some pictures of our vacations =)
First week was in Loire Valley, visiting the castles, so here is the first I wanted to show you: Blois
Carol , this castle will surely remind you something... =D

This is not the most impressive castle we saw (you will see in an other post than we visited castles that left us breathless only with their outsides...) because it's not really big, and it's in town centre, but the inside is very rich, amazingly decorated ... and the stairs here above are famous ...

Here is not the real throne...it was a copy for a film, that's why we were allowed to sit
The real one was upstairs and the pictures of the embroidery comes from it
On the evening we attended a wonderful spectacle, an amazing display on the walls, with the whole history of the castle (in French it was the actor Robert Hossein speaking and his voice....hummmm perfect , and the music also =D)
We were not allowed to take pictures with flash , so Hubby did his best...I show you some here ....
It was a great moment, the real beginning of our vacations =)

 That's all for today =)
Don't know if I'll have stitches to show you next time, but I try to come very soon to, at least, show you other pictures....
xxxx

(My favourite =D)

  10. LOVE. THE. BLUE. I might have to join the French royalty if they get to be surrounded in that much blue. I also think I need that bed in my house. Even if it doesn't fit. I cannot continue without it, lol!

Your ornament card is quite cute although it is still too early for me to think of Christmas, haha. I'm glad you are feeling lots better, too! :D

it's funny because when we saw the bed, I said to hubby that it would be great in our bedroom too
but he answered me that I would surely have 'my feet sleeping out of it' =)
      in fact it's small !
they used to sleep being 'sit', because lying was the position of a corpse :-/
