A bientôt
xxx

One week ago, at the same hour...we were visiting Leeds Castle =)
Honestly I don't know why we didn't visit this place before !! It's so close from the arrival of the Channel Tunnel ... and really, it's a magnificent place !
I had the time of my life =)
Hubby and I are great fans of medieval history and time...so we really enjoyed our day.
We left with pulls, coats and scarves as the girl on TV said the day before it was going to be a rainy day !
My foot =)
It was very sunny and hot !

During 4 days, a jousting tournament was organised and we had the chance to attend the quarter final.
What a show ! The 'ballet master' was excellent, so funny, and the knights also were very good ! They really delighted us for more than one hour. Red against blue, we were in the red part of the arena so supporting the red knights as if we were in year 1100 =D

A very great moment just before the falconry show. During the 45mn between the 2 we walked in a marvellous garden , full of so beautiful flowers and plants !
A great moment with the birds of pray that we both love very much.

Many feathered friends are living in the park and we saw very beautiful species.
I couldn't resist to this baby swan =)
But we had to use the focus to take the picture because Mum was not very pleased if we were coming too close to her babies...

We ended the day by a visit of the castle itself, as it's still used the inside is a bit modern compared to the outsides which seem coming out from another time but it's really worth seeing.
The ticket is valid for one year from the date of purchase on, so I really think Leeds will see us again, at Xmas or maybe Halloween, with all the seasonal ornaments...
I hope so =)

We spent about 7 hours there and it seems we haven't seen everything ...
I hope I didn't bother you with all these pictures and comments, but I truly wanted to share with you this magical moment I had.
Before leaving I'd like to thank Hubby for his (I find) wonderful pictures . I say it here too, because I know he also reads the English part (as, he says, I don't write the same in French and in English...more details in this part it seems =D)
Love you honey =)
He made about 600 shots ! The choice was difficult to try and show you the beauty of the place and the great moment we had. (I can tell you my feet were happy to meet my slivers again when we came back home =D)
Have a great weekend
Coming soon with stitches...
