Already more than 10 days since I've been writing something here...
Not that I lost my blog mojo, not at all, but Super Hubby had one week off so we really profited to work outside as Spring finally made its come back =D
It's sometimes a bit cold but sunny anyway and that's really great
I'm like a flower coming out of the ground =D
I come here today and I can see I've new followers...so super...very warm welcome here =D
Some weeks ago, I started...and finished Washing Line by Margaret Sherry, a kit that I was offered last year for my birthday...
As there have been so many gifts and little pieces to reveal here , I didn't find the occasion to show you this one... I find it wonderful =D
It's really cute, and believe me , the mice are tiny...backstitch was not easy...
I used the fabric and threads that were in the kit, without changing anything, even if I really prefer to work with DMC than Anchor threads...
First I wanted to sew a 'basket' for my clothes pegs, you see, mounted on a hanger...but finally I realised it would be less handy than the basket I already had , as I'm used to flippantly throw my pegs in it =D
Sure I wouldn't use this one...
That's why we decided to customize mine =D
We..of course...I just ironed interfacing at the back of the stitching and chose the ribbon (the very same as the one used on my bag with the Spring cat last year...) , and Super Hubby did the rest =D
I'm in love with my basket ! Makes me wanting to hang laundries hehehe
I will never be fed up with MS mice =D
Besides, I have another one to show you, I made a little piece with a MS mouse but I'll show later
It's not because sun and Spring came back that my needles are in the cupboard =D
I have many little pieces to show here, and a big one, Clair de Lune ... which is now framed and hanged...and it's a wonder =D
But it deserves its own post
See you soon here
xxxxx

I adore your clothes peg basket! What a lovely finish for such a delicate piece! I too prefer DMC threads to Anchor so I will probably be changing any MS chart that I do to DMC colors. Thank you for also posting in English...if you didn't, all I would be able to understand are your wonderful pictures! Have a wonderful rest of the week from a friend in Missouri, USA. :)

Your peg basket looks nice with this cute design:) very beautiful finish! How did you glue it on basket?
RépondreSupprimerthanks a lot Preeti =D
SupprimerI ironed interfacing at the back of the stitching, and Hubby only used an all purpose glue, universal glue =D
but he put a lot hehehe , to be sure it will stay on the basket
xxxx

RépondreSupprimerMany thanks June =)
SupprimerAs I said to Carol above...I love when I ask Hubby 'do you think it's possible to..' and that he answers 'of course' , even if sometimes he adds just before a 'you will drive me crazy with your harebrained ideas' hahaha =D

RépondreSupprimerthanks a lot Parsley =)
SupprimerI ironed interfacing at the back of the stitching and Hubby glued it on the basket , with an 'all purposes' glue...and we hid the edges with the ribbon which is also glued =D
