 A bientôt
xxxx

Already more than one week since we went to Oxford...and I didn't find the time yet to show you !
But today, I come with some pictures...some pictures only because we made lot's of pictures and the choice was difficult to do !
There are so many things to see there...
But first, I go on with showing you the gifts I received for my birthday =)
On Tuesday after Easter, arrived 2 parcels.
First was from sweet June who always find the perfect goodies =)
Thank you once again for everything, I love, and your bag for buttons is so sweet. I already used 2 buttons for the needle book on the previous post =)

Then, sweet Cucki spoiled me too =)
Isn't this doll very cute ?

And the Maloo scissors ... and of course this beautiful handmade tablecloth that immediately found its place in the sitting room, perfect with the orchid (which is giving new flowers...)
Thank you so much again sweetie for your gifts that I love

You both sweethearts have been part of my terrific birthday =)
And Oxford too ... what a beautiful town !
We didn't have time to visit everything, the University is too big ! But we visited Christ Church of course, where many scenes of Harry Potter were shot, as well as the Golden Compass, or Xmen origins.
But for a Harry Potter fan as I am...it was a delight to be there. It was as if Professor Mac Gonagall was welcoming me in the stairs , by the famous light =)

And to be in the not less famous dining room ! Of course they change it with computers to have the sensation it's bigger, but it was there, with the 'living' frames all around...
I sat on one of the chairs =D

We also visited Divinity School. This is an amazing room, the infirmary in Harry Potter and also the room where they have a dance lesson in the Goblet of Fire =D
The sculptures in this room are amazing ! the celling is so beautiful
Above this room was the Bodleian Library (THE Harry Potter library) but no pictures allowed !

The original Magna Carta is in this library...I put the picture speaking about it for my best friend who comes here, we were at university together and belonged to a students association which name was Magna Carta =)
It's thanks to this association I met her and also that I discovered Scotland ! A long story full of so good memories....
Back to Oxford, we walked in the paces of Shakespeare, Tolkien, Lewis Carroll...
We even went to the candy shop of the 'true' Alice , the one who inspired LC  . It's now a shop dedicated to Alice in Wonderland universe...

Don't pay attention to my hair ... we had hails just before =D
We also saw the copy of the Sighs Bridge and for the one among you who are more TV shows than films...maybe you will recognise the Turf Tavern, the true one where Inspectors Morse & Lewis have sometimes a pint =D
It was no closed, we had luck...nobody was in the yard !

There are so many pictures left to show you...but maybe you're already fed up with these one =D
You have a quick overview of this beautiful town where , for sure, we will go back to visit other places

Did I already told you I had a terrific birthday ?? =D
And it lasted till this morning !! I received my 'candy' from Nia....but I'll share with you the beauty which was inside in another post...
So see you very soon around here
