Le printemps en Sibérie !

Depuis lundi...il neige !!
on a tout eu, du blizzard , des flocons énormes, du verglas, des congères...et presque 40cm de mesuré dans le jardin maintenant !
Mais où est le printemps !!!


Tour le nord de la France est touché et c'est assez impressionnant.
Beaucoup de routes sont fermées, un nombre incalculable de personnes a été bloqué dans les voitures pendant des heures....
La Sibérie...en pire !


C'est normalement la route qui mène de mon village au village voisin !
et les appuis de fenêtre...ça vaut le détour aussi !


Espérons tout de même que cela s'arrange rapidement....
Pas de croix pour ce post =)

Maybe some of you saw on TV or heard about this...but North of France is under a terrible weather !
It has been snowing since Monday morning now !
We had everything ! Hails, tons of snow (we now have 40cm in our garden !) , very cold wind that created huge snowdrifts, black ice...and it's still snowing !
I think I never saw that !!
Lot's of roads are closed, you can see on the 2nd picture, the road that links my village to the closer one !
And can you believe the 3rd picture is a one made this morning of the window sills !
Lot's of people have been blocked in their cars on the motorways for hours, one of our friends stayed 18 hours in a Red Cross refuge on the road !


This is definitely not Spring ! It's Siberia ! 
And a better weather is not forecast for the moment ....
I have no stitches to show you today, I just wanted to share with you these (I find) amazing pictures

As I joined several exchanges, I didn't find the time to make several pieces for Easter ...
But I have one.... =D
And as I didn't know to who I would send it, I wrote on small papers 12 names of sweet friends here living in Europe because I want this little piece to arrive on time for Easter....

And I asked Hubby to chose one =)
Don't worry friends of the overseas, I found it was great fun and I'll surely do this again soon... 
But this time the name that came out of the bowl is....

Marcinha =)
Sweetie, please send me your address, I don't have it...so that I can send you very quickly my little something that I hope you'll love =D

    Wow, pour une fois, je suis bien contente d'être en Angleterre, ou nous avons évité la neige! Il a neigé mais rien a tenu!!! C'est l'horreur chez vous, êtes vous coincé?       Tu m'étonnes ! Par chez toi en France ça a du être pire encore =(
      La Normandie et la Manche sont vraiment sinistrées
      Les 3 routes qui nous permettent de sortir du village étaient complètement bloquées ! Mon homme a même pas pu aller travailler mardi
      Le chasse neige est finalement passé hier ...
      Du jamais vu =)
      Le gift pour Marcinha est un petit lapin sur un coussin, j'espère qu'elle aimera =)

      I never saw this
      It's even more terrible in real than on the pictures I find ! Hubby couldn't go to work on Tuesday !

    OMG Valérie..
    Here we have 1 cm snow today, all from yesterday and day before is gone with the sun.
    I would love to come to you with the kids and play in the snow, I will take teh slide with me... but I don't think it will be a short drive.
    But would love to do that ♥

      it would have been fun to play in the snow together with the kids =)
      we would have made great pictures to post here =)
      but yesterday, Hubby made 80km in 5 hours !!!! can you believe this....
      I'll stay warm and stitch this afternoon, my ironing can wait more hehehehe

      hoooo no, it can't forget us =)
      for the moment it doesn't know where to go, but it will arrive
      I thought I was in your country
      Something is on the road for you sweetie, watch out your letter box =D
      It will surely be delayed because of the snow and the fact that trucks, trains and planes are not fully working those days...but I hope it will arrive safe =)

    That's funny, I saw your email and see what you had come to me on your blog, I begin to see beautiful photos, beautiful. And I thought that was it, after all appeared lower down my name,

    Portugal is also cold, but it's nothing like that. Stay at home very warm.

      I hope so
      It has started to melt a bit but yesterday we had -10° so everything is frozen now and it's so slippery !
      Easter bunny will bring hot chocolate this year, not chocolate eggs =)

    coucou copine, elles son très belles tes photos mais honnêtement je n'en peux plus de ce temps.... je suis totalement épuisée et je ne supporte pas grande chose de ce fait alors j'aimerais que tu puisses faire des photos de ton jardin sous le soleil avec des fleurs et des oiseaux.... bref du printemps du soleil et de la chaleur....
    sinon je vais bien tout va bien....

      je te comprends ma copine, moi aussi j'aime bien la neige mais là ça gave !
      Denis a du faire demi tour mardi et ça a été une horreur les autres jours ! Drouvin était complètement barré ! les routes étaient impraticables sauf vers Béthune et encore fallait faire hyper gaffe !
      il faut te reposer ce weekend surtout
      la prochaine fois qu’on se voit j'ai une surprise pour toi qui j'espère te mettra un peu de baume au cœur <3

    It is so, so cold here, Valerie, but at least we don't have that horrid snow!! Please stay warm and safe inside and enjoy your stitching :)

      I think I've never seen this !

    Ohhhh my :((( terrible weather! Here it's cold, it rains... Not as bad! But europe is under snow, our portuguese islands are under water (looooads of water! Really bad, people have died, houses have ben lost..) and I'm here.. Somewhere in beetween all this :( all we wanted was spring to come...

    Here in northern Italy the weather is so-so
    One day it's sunny (yesterday) and the day after (raining and cold)

      it seems that my parcel hasn't arrived yet :-/
      I hope she will receive it before Easter !
      It's really too early this year...
      All the snow melted, but we had 2 days of snow last week again ! now it's very cold and grey...
      this morning the car was frozen !!
      fed up with this never ending winter
      it's anyway the first time I see so much snow here !!
