Time passes by toooooo quickly,  we are already December and the countdown to Xmas is now on...
I will decorate the home this week and we will surely  decorate the tree next weekend.

I have WIP, I have finished stitchings, I have stitichings to finish within the 2 coming weeks... but I won't show you anything today =)
First I want to share what I received last week, from Anne, Simone and Cucki
I have been blessed again =)
Simone made me this lovely card with a Xmas wreath, Cucki a lovely Xmas hanging and a toooo cute butterfly in crochet, and Anne sent me wisper thread !! woooo too kind ! I absolutely can't find this kind of thread here !
Thank you very much again my sweet friends for all these gifts that I  love
I'm really blessed !!

I've been over spoiled  by Mexico for the Winter exchange !!!!
Yep, my secret partner was from Mexico hehehehe, and I have to share here what I received, but it  really worth its 'own post', so it will be for next time =D
This weekend was THE event here
Le Louvre II opened in Lens
Maybe some of you heard about this, but France decided to open a second Louvre museum, and Lens has been chosen to welcome it.
Lens is only 8km from where I live so very easy to go , not the case with Paris !
Official opening will be on the  12th, but in the night from Saturday to Sunday, they made a special free opening !
So we went =D

We arrived at 11PM and left at about 2.30AM =)
There was lot's people anyway !
We have been expecting that Museum  for about 5 years now.
I remember the place before, I used to go there when I was young and it previously was a coal mine place. Very different now
I must admit I find (we find with Hubby)  the museum a bit too modern, 'cold', white and the pieces of art are not always well presented...but it's really great to have it so close from home. And we were very happy to be there that night !

From time to time there will be special exhibition (this part is better made) and for the beginning it is Italian Renaissance
Being so close to Saint Anne by Leonard De Vinci isn't it great ?? =)

Speaking about the Great Leonard, I have to share here pictures of the Clos Lucé, his home that we visited during our vacations in the Loire Valley.
It's a real beautiful place
I still have so many pictures to show you from our vacations ! A bit strange as we are close to Xmas but...

That's all for today =)
Next time stitches then , not mine,  Mexican one  =D

it'll bring lot's of people and we will see great things without going to Paris (even if I really love going to Paris hehehhe)
I never heard of wisper thread before seeing it used by our fellows on MS lovers blog for the Xmas stitchings !
that's so kind from Anne, because as we spoke about yesterday to find this kind of supplies is really difficult in our countries

anemia and broken femur (just like my mom)
hopefully good because it is elderly (86 years)

  13. Oh my..i didn't knew abou this new Louvre extension, but it's a great ideia to have one not so close to Paris so other people, that live far away, could visit it!
The photos look fantastic..i'm sure it is a great place :)
I've been twice in Paris but never visited Louvre. We would loved it, but there was many people on the lines and we prefered to see other things..maybe in a next time...even because it's necessary a whole day to visit it! :)

    Great gifts you've received sweetie:)
