Chat d'Automne

On the calendar it was written 'Autumn' and bang !!
Summer encountered great difficulties to come and stay with us, but Autumn wasn't late !!!
Since the very first day we have rain, cold, wind, ho yes lot's of wind, and lot's of rain ... and lot's of leaves have fallen !
But I have a friend who gathered them at his feet =D
Here is my Autumn cat for the SAL#3 on the Margaret Sherry lovers' blog

You know by now that I'm not fond of cats and that I prefer mice...but I must admit that MS cats are really cute  and well designed, and this one, the Autumn cat is my favourite =)

I had first no idea on how to finish him ! For the first 2 is has been easy to find an idea...but I had first a lack of inspiration
and finally....
I chose felt, buttons and a ribbon in the autumnal colours, and made this little bag
Super Hubby loves eating nuts in Autumn so I chose to make this bag for him and put inside the nuts his parents gave him (their garden is full of nuts and walnuts !)
We're going to see Autumn Cat everyday for a while =)

I was a bit late because deadline was 23rd of September but it's not a big delay, and it worth it don't you find ? =D
I started this afternoon the 3rd part of my Mystery SAL, but I have to think about my ABC Winnie the Pooh (remember ?? =D)
Little Noémie is going to be Christened soon and it'll be my present for her... I have to take my turbo needle =)

Next post I will speak about my vacations a little...
But before, a last picture with Gustaf, the little hedgehog Mum offered me yesterday =D
He is too cute....

Happy stitching and thank you for your stop here

In fact, the buttons...Hubby came back from work end of last week and gave me them =)

  12. What a unique finish, Valerie--the little kitty is adorable, too. For not liking cats, you sure do make some darling cat-themed finishes!!

It is a cold and rainy day here today, too :( Oh, well, guess I will have to go stitch a bit before work :)

When I was a bout 6 years old, I've been 'attacked' by a cat who thought I was coming as an enemy...
he was under a car, and he caught my small leg (at that time I had small legs =D) with his claws =(
I can remember how painful it was 30 years later !
since then I have been very afraid of cats, they seems to be tigers for me !
but MS cats are going to bring us together =)
