Une journée normale d'été, grise, venteuse, pluvieuse et en plus un vendredi 13 !!
Pas de grandes révélations à faire aujourd’hui, mais juste la progression de la SAL mystère.
La première partie, celle de juillet est terminée et j'aime ce que je découvre
Je ne fais que les fils coton et les fils métalliques, pas les perles... (les fils violets dans les enluminures sont normalement des perles...)
Déjà que les fils métalliques sont une grande première pour moi, alors les perles ce sera pour une prochaine fois !

J'ai maintenant hâte de voir apparaitre le dessin central =D
J'ai trouvé le dernier numéro d'Il était un fil sur le thème invitation au voyage
Et voilà qu'hier le facteur m'apporte un marque page en provenance directe du Portugal =D

Today is a normal summer day : sky is grey, it's raining (even pouring ! ) it's windy ...!!!
I haven't great revelations today (not even Great Expectations either =D), only the WIP of my mystery SAL to show you
I love what is appearing
The flash of the camera (yes, in Autumn you have to use the flash !) wasted the metallic thread which is normally copper colour
I just stitch with the metallic threads and not the beads
Beads will be for next time , metallic threads are already a first for me =D
And in fact I prefer with no beads, it's my choice , but if you would like to see what it's like with the beads just have a look at Giovanna's blog , she made a really great 1st part with the beads =DI found the last issue of my favourite Xstitch French magazine, il était un fil, and the theme of the month is 'invitation au voyage'...there are once again great ideas and stitching in this magazine and it matches perfectly with what I received this morning from Nia =D
I definitely love this rooster !
And now I have his legend, in French on a splendid bookmark =D

Will it be buterflies? Fairies? I don't know... I just know it is gorgeous! I love the colours, pretty amazing. To stitch on metallic threads is so hard in my oppinion... How do you get this so perfect? Congrats, dear!

Indeed, metallic threads are difficult to stitch ! I think it took me twice the time and that I used too much thread =)
