Envie de fraises...

L'automne commence 'doucement' à s'installer par ici, mais l'été aura vraiment été beau !
Cet été justement,  Mii avait organisé un échange , et pour la première fois, j'ai envoyé un petit paquet en Grèce,  à Ariadne =D
Ariadne adore tout ce qui a rapport avec la mer , le bord de mer, les coquillages et surtout les verres de mers (d'ailleurs maman...si au détour d’une ballade sur la plage tu en trouves...tu me les ramasses...) 
Mais j'ai décidé de partir sur tout à fait autre chose... et j'ai eu...une envie de fraises =D
Strawberry House de LHN

J'ai tapé juste puisque ma comparse Grecque est aussi une fan des fraises et a adoré mon choix
Tant mieux =)
Je n'ai pas trouvé de tissu avec des fraises qui me plaisait vraiment alors j'ai opté pour un tissu rouge à pois et une doublure unie.
Un petit sac à emporter partout =)

Avec ça, j'ai été plus que gâtée par Bernadett de Serbie   !!
J'avais gagné sa giveaway quelques semaines auparavant et elle en a profité pour m'envoyer tout en même temps.
Le carnet recouvert et le petit cœur sont vraiment très très beaux.
Mais l'échange d'été c'est (tout) ça ....

De l'écharpe crochetée , en passant par cette magnifique trousse et le  papillon !

Giveaway de Bernadett

Autumn is arriving here....but the least we can say is that we had a wonderful summer !
Summer also rhymed with great exchange for me , thanks to Mii who organised one =)
For the first time, I had to send a little something to Greece, to Ariadne.
Ariadne is a great fan of everything that is related to sea, seaside, sea glasses, shells.... (it reminds me a sentence I used to learn at school to well speak English ...) 
But I really wanted to do something very different for her and chose...strawberries =D
Fortunately she told me she loves strawberries and really enjoyed my parcel =D
Lucky me 
I stitched Strawberry House by LHN and decided to make a little bag with it.
As I didn't find any suitable fabric with strawberries on it (I found some...but they were..awful !) I chose a polka dot red fabric =)

 
Strawberry House chart now joined Kaye in Australia, sure she will do something beautiful with it.

And I must say...I have been OVER SPOILED by Bernadett in return !!
Ho my ! sweetie I already thanked you but once again I want you to know how you made my day and how I'm in love with everything you sent me. 
Everything is so well done and delicate...

Summer Iris

Parmi tous les petits cadeaux que j'avais reçus en gagnant la giveaway de Bruna il y a quelques semaines...il y avait le diagramme Summer Iris par Blackbird designs.
Bruna en avait proposé plusieurs différents que le gagnant devait choisir et moi j'avais craqué pour celui là =)

J'avais promis de la faire assez vite, pour pouvoir partager cette grille avec quelqu’un d'autre dans les meilleurs délais et c'est chose faite =)
J'ai récidivé sur du lin (je suis accro oui =D) , avec les couleurs préconisées et voilà le résultat

Tout simple mais tout beau ... même si le bleu n'est pas ma couleur....j'aime beaucoup.
Je vous avais dit, le prochain finish serait un coussin ... qui a d'ailleurs parfaitement trouvé sa place dans notre hall d'entrée  =D
Summer Iris va bientôt quitter la France donc, mais on ne sait pas encore vers quelle destination ...
Je ferai un tirage au sort le 9 septembre, jour de l'anniversaire de mon petit Papa =D

Among all the gifts I received from Bruna some weeks ago, lucky winner of her giveaway I was... there was a chart from Blackbird Designs , Summer Iris.
Blue is not my colour, but I totally felt in love with this design when Bruna showed it on her blog. I first thought I would change the colours but no =)
I used the recommended threads and stitched it on linen. (yes, I'm addicted...)
I find the result very beautiful & sweet, and this is my first Blackbird =D
You saw I finished it as a pillow , which found its (perfect) place in hour entry hall 
Perfect matching fabric again that I had in my stash.
Believe me, I don't have loads of fabrics, hehehe =D

I'm in love with this little piece !
I really spoil myself this year...
But I can't keep such a beautiful chart for me alone. As I promised when I received it, I would like to share it with one of you.

Fleurs de coton

Jardin Privé a une grille gratuite sur son site, intitulée Fleurs de coton....
Ceux qui connaissent Cucki auront surement pensé comme moi, cette grille était faite pour elle =)
Et comme c'était son anniversaire le week end dernier, j'ai décidé de me lancer dans cette grille...

J'ai respecté les couleurs préconisées mais en les prenant en lin pour changer....
Le résultat est plus doux qu'avec du coton,  mais les fils ne sont pas si agréables à travailler !
De la trousse que j'avais faite pour Mii il me restait du tissu qui suivait parfaitement avec le motif...

Une petite breloque chat, très Cucki elle aussi, et hop hop hop une nouvelle petite trousse
Ça faisait longtemps =D
La prochaine fois...on repasse au coussin...

Jardin Privé has a free chart entitled Fleurs de coton (Cotton flowers) that you can find here.
Those who know Cucki maybe had the same reaction as I had...this chart was made for her =D

That's why this is the one I chose for her birthday last weekend 
I used the recommended colours, but instead of cotton I used the linen threads. 
The result is sweet, even if the linen is a bit less pleasant to use... I find it easily frays, so don't make too long lengths if you use linen =)
But really linen makes beautiful stitches and I enjoyed the stitching anyway. 

I added a charm also 'very Cucki'... her sweet Maloo of course =)
I made her a pouch, using the fabric I already used before for Mii, for the back and inside.
This fabric was really perfect for this design !! Sue Bonnet everywhere =)
I can't remember where I found it !
Another zipped pouch yes, but next post will surely show a pillow

Falalalala....

Autant s'y prendre un peu à l'avance... préparons un peu noël  =D
Il y a quelques temps je recevais de la part de Nia , une de ses grilles Lizzie Kate des bonhommes de neige, Snow Friends.

J'avoue que c'était une de mes préférées, si ce n'est ma préférée des 6 qu'elle a fait...
Elle n'était pas sur ma liste des broderies pour cette année mais un si gentil cadeau ne se refuse pas =)
Alors hop hop , un peu de tissu de noël et j'en ai fait un petit coussin auquel j'ai ajouté un petit noeud et un grelot.

Histoire de partager le plaisir j'ai ensuite envoyé cette grille à Annette qui se propose elle aussi de l'envoyer maintenant...une espèce de diagramme voyageur =)
J'ai aussi récidivé, j'ai fait un nouveau Little House Needleworks...Cardinal Winter 
Pareil, un petit coussin pour la décoration de la maison à Noël...
Je vous avais bien dit que les prochaines finitions seraient plus simples, on ne peut pas toujours avoir le cerveau en ébullition, c'est vacances =)

It is never too early to prepare Xmas...
... and that's what I did.  
Sweet Nia sent me some weeks (months) ago one of  the 6 snowmen she made , Snow Friends by Lizzie Kate.
For sure this one was my favourite !

It was not on my to do list this year but such a sweet present had to be honoured =D
I made it on cream aïda (yes it is cream but the picture is very bad !) and finished it as a little pillow with a bow and a bell ... 
I sent it to Annette after I stitched it and it is maybe about to become a travelling pattern as Annette also proposed to send it =)

And I re offended  =)
I did another LHN, called Cardinal Winter 

 I also finished it as a little pillow to decorate our home at Xmas.
I told you the next finishes would be more 'simple' hehehe, our team is a bit on vacations and our brains can't always be high boiling =)
And I don't have too many pillows for the moment.

We don't see very well but the fabric is green, perfect for Xmas =)
I have other charts for Xmas by LHN, I will try to stitch one per month till December...
I also have 3 houses of the Santa's Village...ho my, I'm going to be a busy bee till the end of the year 
(don't want to speak about bees....we quarrelled)

Needleworker

Laissons un peu le bleu de côté =)
Place au marron et aux couleurs d'automne !
Je suis une fan du violet mais les couleurs d'automne ... j'aime aussi
Il y a quelques temps j'ai commandé le kit 'Needleworker' de chez Little House Needleworks .
ça ne ressemble pas trop à ce que j'ai l’habitude de faire mais j'ai craqué, et puis commander aux
États Unis revient carrément moins cher !

Mise à part un cadre...rien n'est apparu comme une évidence pour terminer cette pièce !
Sauf...peut être....oui...biensur =D
Bien entendu l'aide de Super Moitié a, une fois de plus, été plus que nécessaire !
Mais d'abord un peu de tissu, du ruban et une des épingles que Giovanna m'avait offertes pour pour anniversaire pour terminer la chose....
Mais quelle est donc cette chose ? =)
Un peu de médium, de la colle...et surtout une plaque magnétique pour me faire le plus beau des tableaux à aimants pour le petit repère broderie, couture, craft...que j'ai réussi à m'aménager à l'étage =D

Pratique, beau et surtout très pratique mais aussi très beau ... j'adore
La photo est un peu plus bas, je voulais ménager le suspens pour la partie en anglais
Une des plus belles finitions de cette année et pour moi =D

Let blue things apart for a while =)
Move on to Autumn colours for this post, because even if I'm a great fan of all kind of purples, I also love autumnal colours, as Autumn is my favourite season =)
Some weeks ago I ordered in the US (because it's very hard to find those kind of charts here in France and also because it's really cheaper !) the kit Needleworker by LHN.
My discovery and felt in love with LHN !
I'm now stitching some other designs by LHN but one thing after the other...

Unless framing it, nothing else was evident to finish this piece ... 
Except...maybe....yes....it's obvious =D
Of course Super Hubby's help has been more than necessary for this finish !!!
Thank you again Honey, I'm totally in love with what you did, you know it  =D
But first some fabric, ribbon and one of the pins Giovanna offered me for my birthday to finish the thing....

But what is the thing hahaha =D
Some plywood, glue, and most of all .... a magnetic sheet to make me the most beautiful magnetic board for my craft corner =)
Voilà...

(Nia, Mii... I know... I have a beautiful magnet hehehe =D)

Toile de ...Delft !

Alors qu'aujourd'hui est arrivé en Afrique du Sud un petit paquet d'anniversaire qui ne sera ouvert que dans quelques jours....ce samedi....Annette, elle, a pu ouvrir le sien ... =)
Grande fan du blanc, et aussi du bleu, et en fait du bleu et blanc , Annette a un penchant pour ce qui ressemble à la faïence de Delft.
Aussi quand dans un des magazines Français spécial 'Toile de Jouy' j'ai vu cette grille je me suis aussitôt dit 'celle là ... c'est pour Annette' =D

Juste 3 couleurs et très peu de points arrières pour un rendu plutôt bluffant
Ne serait ce que la petite maison en arrière plan =)
Mi toile de Jouy, mi faïence de Delft, un beau résultat que nous avons terminé en petit plateau pour pouvoir crafter partout (nous...oui...biensur =D)

Pour ne pas risquer de perdre son aiguille biensur...un petit biscornu assorti =)
Encore joyeux anniversaire à Annette , qui a beaucoup aimé son cadeau de par ce que j'ai pu en déduire avec tous les tweets reçus à minuit samedi =)
Beaucoup de bleu ces derniers temps non ...!
Je reviens vite avec d'autres couleurs et des finitions très différentes =)

While a birthday parcel just reached South Africa....but will have to wait a few days before being opened...another was opened this Saturday by Annette =)
Almost everybody knows how Annette loves white... and also how it is difficult (at least for me :D) to do white things !
But one day she told being fan of Delft earthenware , so when I saw in a French magazine special 'Toile de Jouy' this chart, in white & blue looking like this style she loves...I immediately put it aside and said to myself, this one is for Annette =)

Only 3 different threads and a few backstitches...for a great result I find. Can you see the little house at the background ?
We (of course...we =D) finished it in a small tray, just like the one I used for my travelling pattern stitching , but painted in white.
And of course to not loose the needle while crafting outdoor, a small matching biscornu =)

With the tweets I received at midnight last Saturday ... I can say that my sweet Petite Anne enjoyed her gift =D
Let's hope now the one that is waiting by Cucki will also be appreciated...
Don't you find I'm handling with too much blue those days ? =)

La Fée bleue

La chaleur écrasante de ces derniers jours a eu raison de moi et de mes mises à jour par ici....
Mais avant que ne commence vraiment la journée la plus chaude de l'année semble t-il, un petit post pour dévoiler le cadeau d'anniversaire de Nia =)
La grille m'a été offerte par une amie du groupe français, sachant que j'aimais les papillons et le violet (Elle est de LanSvit, et si au début on ne la trouvait que sur des sites Russes ou Ukrainiens on la trouve maintenant sur des sites Européens , comme celui ci (allez jeter un œil à sa couleur originale...)  avec des explications en Anglais ce qui est quand même plus simple ! =D  )
J'ai craqué pour cette petit fée donc, mais Nia aimant le bleu, Super Moitié m'a aidée à la passer en bleu et voilà le résultat

J'ai une fois de plus choisi du lin, bleu ciel, et si la grille était notée 'expert' c'était pas pour rien =)
Il y a des tas de points plus bizarres les uns que les autres mais finalement je m'en suis bien sortie !

 Trop grand pour une trousse ou un pochon je l'ai terminée en housse de coussin , avec un tissu à pois comme Nia les affectionne =)
Sur la branche normalement il y a une fleur brodée , mais une fois de plus l'aide de Super Moitié a été fortement appréciée et la broderie a été remplacée par un petit bouton peint
Le petit détour ici vaut le coup d’œil aussi, certains d'entre vous le savent déjà mais je l'ai contaminé...... =D

Il ne reste plus qu'à espérer que le bébé qu’attend Nia sera une petite fille, ce coussin serait parfait dans une chambre de petite Fée , surtout avec les petites Fées en feutrine de Tati Annette =)
Elles sont superbes...
J'ai pas mal de pièces terminées à partager ... pourvu que les températures soient plus clémentes très vite =)

We had terrible hot days this July (that is already finished !!!) 
I must admit that I'm not a heat lover at all...then I lived in my grotto... and I'm late on many things !
First I want to welcome my new followers here
Wow, 81 this morning, I'm so happy =)
Many of you already saw this piece on Nia's blog (by the way, thank you for the very lovely comments you left on her post =D they made me blush !) 
Here is then my birthday gift for her.
I have been offered the chart by a friend who knows I'm a great butterfly and purple lover. Indeed, initially this piece is purple and pink but as Nia is a blue fan...Super Hubby helped me in changing the colours (and there are so many !!!) 
This fairy is from LanSvit , so many cute design from this designer ! 
I first only found them on Russian selling websites, with surely impossible charts to be read...but now LanSvit is in English and I found some here on this Irish site (Angel...you wanted to know where to find her =D)  
There's a blue fairy in the collection but no, I wanted this one...but in blue =D
Have a look at the original purple piece...

Crazy stitches on this piece !
Fortunately I had the good idea to chose linen and not Aida ! 1/2 stitches, 1/3 stitches...even 1/4 stitches, French Knots ! I thought sometimes I was about to drive mad !
But as I said to Nia, when we love whe are able of crazy things =D
The result is lovely don't you find ? 
It was too big for a pouch (zipped or not) so I made a pillow case., with a fabric with polka dots of course ... it was for Nia =D
You saw on one of the pictures above, that initially there was a stitched flower, but we replaced it by a small button that Super Hubby painted =D
I contaminated him, he now has his blog, he is able to do incredible things !!!!! But you knew this already =D
Sometimes (often) it's a very different style from what we do of course, but have a look.... =)

I first thought of a star in her hair too but it would have been too many buttons =)
May I say I'm proud of this piece ? =D
Really, I was myself amazed by the result when I started the backstitch !
Let's hope Baby Nia will be a little girl, this pillow would be perfect in a Fairy bedroom , with the felt Fairies Auntie Annette made =D
I have many other pieces to share with you...let's hope the temperatures will allow me to live outside my grotto hehehehe =D

Do Brasil e Para Brasil

La poste est pleine de mystères =)
Début juin j'envoyais à Simone une petite enveloppe pour son anniversaire (mi juillet) ... car la poste au Brésil est un subtile mélange entre une moule et un escargot =D
Il fallait s'y prendre à l'avance pour être certaine d'être dans les temps et finalement je détiens le record du monde du paquet arrivé le plus vite puisqu'à peine 10 jours plus tard (contre les presque 2 mois habituels...) mon cadeau était déjà arrivé !

J'avais décidé de faire 'Français' et pour la broderie c'est une grille gratuite des Brodeuses Parisiennes, Paris en fleurs que j'ai choisie.
J'ai trouvé du tissu avec la Tour Eiffel et quelques fleurs rapprochant du motif brodé... et hop hop hop une petite trousse =D
Bon d'abord l'arrière pour vous montrer le tissu ....

Le plus marrant dans l'histoire c'est que posté presque 2 mois auparavant, Simone m'avait envoyé un petit quelque chose elle aussi et son enveloppe est arrivée ici la veille de son anniversaire =)
Quand je vous dis que le Brésil c'est terrible....
Encore merci beaucoup pour cette jolie carte et ce napperon entièrement fait main tous les 2 !

Postal services are sometimes full of mysteries !
Beginning of June, I posted to Simone a little something for her birthday that was only last week...
I had to forecast, because Brazilian post is something like the hybridisation between a snail and a mussel =D
Usually it takes more than one month to reach the recipient and this time...only 10 days !!! wow, what a surprise when Simone told me it had already arrived ! But she of course had to wait to open it hehehe =D

I decided to make her a 'French' parcel, that's why I chose this free chart by Les Brodeuses Parisiennes, Paris in flowers...
I found a fabric with the Eiffel Tower and some flowers almost looking like the one I had stitched, and finished it as zipped pouch :)
I added some buttons & charms , a bow to remind the one also stitched ... and voilà ...

 The funniest thing is this story (except the fact you're maybe trying to imagine to what can look like an hybridisation between a mussel and a snail... =D) is that Simone also sent me a gift more than one month before and that it arrived in my letter box just the day before her birthday =D
