F comme feutrine

Avant de continuer à dévoiler les cadeaux d'anniversaire reçus la semaine dernière...une toute petite création....
Une grille gratuite trouvée sur le même site que la dernière fois, ici, que je trouvais fraiche, et surtout parfaite pour un petit cadeau d'anniversaire à offrir à une amie brodeuse =D

Je l'ai terminée en tout petit livret à épingles, basé sur les dimensions de celui que m'avait offert Kate en début d'année...
Je ne le trouve pas 'très droit' , en plus la photo est floue... mais il est sympa quand même...espérons qu'il fera plaisir =)

Anniversaire encore donc...et parlons de ce paquet arrivé le jour même de mon anniversaire...
Plutôt d'abord un courrier de la poste mentionnant que le colis avait été détérioré au contrôle douanier mais finalement plus de peur que de mal et heureusement car  il aurait été bien dommage que cette petite merveille soit fichue !!
En provenance directe des Pays Bas, de chez Annette, j'ai reçu ce magnifique photophore

N'est ce pas qu'il est superbe =)
Du violet, des papillons...et un travail incroyable au niveau des détails !!
Quel boulot rien que pour moi ♥

J'ai déjà envoyé un million de merci à Annette, mais une fois encore, mille merci =D
J'adore cette petite beauté que je ne vais pas oser utiliser par peur de la faire cramer !!
C'est peut être difficile de se rendre compte en photo de ce que ça peut représenter, mais ça ne mesure pas plus de 11cm de haut !
C'est magnifique

Et comme si ça ne suffisait pas , Annette a ajouté un petit paquet pour Super Moitié qui était fin heureux

Don't know what is your weather like my sweet friends, but here it is definitely not Spring !
Only 4° outside and a cold cold wind =(
Fortunately it is Spring inside...
First with this little stitching I made...
I found this freebie on the same blog as the other day, here, and found it perfect for a friend's birthday, as she is also a stitcher =)

I finished it as a small needle book, same size as the one Kate offered me beginning of the year.
I had in my stash this fabric , I bought it at the craft show in September and obviously...it was made for this chart !
I don't find it very 'straight' ! I made things that were prettier, but I hope it will bring frienship and smile to its recipient anyway =)

As we are speaking about birthdays... let's go on with mine =D
The very day of my birthday I received a parcel from the Netherlands. Or at first a mail from post office, saying that my parcel had been damaged during the customs control (!!!) , that it was flat, that they tried to do their best to re pack it...blah blah blah...and that I was expecting at the post office to have it !
I went to post office with a matchbox, ready to set the office into fire !
Fortunately,  there were no bones broken ! Happily ! Because it would have been a great pity that this little beauty was damaged !

Amazing isn't it ? It's full of tiny details. I can ensure you I made a happy dance that lasted long, and I think that the neighbourhood heard me shouting =)

I love my candle jar, and I'm still wondering if I'll dare to use it , I'm too afraid of burning it...
As if it was not enough, Annette added a little parcel in the parcel for Super Hubby who often helps when I craft...
This adorable personalised mouse, that is almost smaller than the fairies !
When Hubby  helps  me again, you will see this mouse here around =)

He was very happy with his gift, and once again we both Danke U very much =D
I told you I had been spoiled !!!!
Over spoiled as it's not ending here ! I have other gifts to show you next week =)

Lapins de Pâques et cadeaux

J'espère que tout le monde à passé de bonnes fêtes de Pâques ...
Nous c'était parfait =)
Avant de vous montrer quelques photos de notre journée  à Oxford (c'était génial =D) j'avais fait des croix pour Pâques  ... mais juste un peu , par manque de temps....
Tout d'abord un petit lapin réalisé pour une 'amie' du groupe Facebook...

C'est une grille gratuite trouvée ici , et j'ai changé la jacinthe par un œuf de Pâques tout en respectant les fils préconisés, à l'origine, pour la fleur.
J'en ai fait un petit coussin.
Lapin, coussin...on prend les mêmes on recommence, j'avais fait une autre grille et le petit coussin est parti au Portugal , chez Marcinha suite au tirage au sort de l'autre jour =)
Une grille gratuite elle aussi, de chez Madame Chantilly.

Les photos des 2 pièces finies sont un peu plus bas =)
Mon anniversaire est tombé en même temps que Pâques cette année, et la boite aux lettres n'a pas arrêté de se remplir...encore hier...et j'ai des tas de jolies choses à vous montrer , mais je vais distiller, pour pouvoir mieux tout apprécier =)
Par ordre d'apparition dans l'arrivée du courrier, il y a eu Giovanna ...

Un joli paquet qui renfermait une très belle petite pochette en tissu avec un papillon au crochet =)
Et comme si ça ne suffisait pas dans la pochette il y avait 3 superbes épingles !

Merci beaucoup Giovanna pour ce très beau cadeau.
Le même jour c'est de Rita que j'ai reçu un paquet, j'avais tout gardé pour n'ouvrir que le 29 bien entendu =)
Les photos sont elles aussi un peu plus bas, mais entre la broche en scrap faite par Rita, la superbe carte elle aussi en scrap et une non moins superbe pochette de téléphone ...avec un papillon et réalisée à la main par une amie à elle...j'ai vraiment été gâtée =D

Gâtée vous dites ? Attendez de voir ce qu'Annette m'a envoyé !!! Mais ça , ça mérite aussi un post spécial =)

Hi the world =)
I hope everybody had a great Easter weekend, here , for sure we had !
Spring , or at least a kind of Spring because it is still very cold outside, made its return and it's very sunny.
Before writing a post about our trip in Oxford (which has been absolutely wonderful =D) , I have stitches to show, stitches I made for Easter. Only two small pieces as I didn't really find the time to make more :-/
The first is a freebie I found here. The original rabbit had a hyacinth in his hand , but I changed and made an Easter egg instead =)

The second one is a chart I found on Madame Chantilly website.
Bunny, Easter...and another little pillow.
Another little pillow that Marcinha won the other day when her name came out of the bowl =)

My birthday was the very same weekend =)
And I had a TERRIFIC one !! Really ! Not only with the trip to Oxford, but also with all the gifts that arrived in the letter box.
Some still arrived yesterday =)
I can't show everything in the same post... so I show you in order of appearance, hehehe =D
The day before my birthday 2 parcels arrived, but I only opened them on the 29th of course !
First, Giovanna....

A very pretty bag with inside 2 beauties ! 
A lovely case with a great crocheted butterfly on it and as if it was not enough, inside the case there were 3 superb pins ! How small and beautiful the flowers are ! Amazing !
I absolutely love my gifts sweet Giovanna, and once again I send you thousands of thank you. You always find such gorgeous things.
The second parcel the very  same day was from Rita. 
Here again, I've been spoiled !
Hubby took charge of the chocolates, and  I had the other gifts =)

Rita made me this beautiful brooch in scrapbooking, and the other gift was a great phone case with a butterfly on it , that a friend of hers made ! 
Isn't it beautiful ?? I so love it.
Thank you again sweetie for these wonderful gifts.
You both really made my day and spoiled me girls. I had a long happy dance =)

Fleurs de cerisier

Restons dans le printemps...
Même si comme prévu...à l'extérieur...il est déjà parti =(
Il y a quelques temps j'ai refait un motif du livre le Japon au Point de Croix
Une fleur de cerisier .
Destinée à Kate au Canada, maintenant qu'elle est arrivée je peux la publier =)

Avec Super moitié (Joyeux anniversaire d'ailleurs =D) on a le souhait d'aller les voir pour de vrai les cerisiers en fleurs, au Japon...
Mais c'est pas demain la vieille ! On va attendre que ça soit un peu moins 'radioactif', et puis on va économiser aussi =)
Quoiqu'il en soit, comme Kate avait beaucoup aimé mes créa avec des motifs de ce livre et pour la remercier de son livet à épingles qu'elle m'avait envoyé en début d'année je lui ai fait une petite trousse (Kate avait fait remarquer sur son blog qu'elle avait beaucoup trop de petits coussins, et ce n'était pas tombé dans l'oreille d'un sourd =D)
hé oui encore une trousse ! je suis vraiment accro à la couture de la fermeture éclair , à croire =)

Toute petite et toute mignonne, je crois que c'est une des mieux réussie =)
J'ai réussi à lui donner la forme que je voulais !
Première utilisation du thermocollant aussi, ça a peut être aidé !
Bientôt une autre trousse...j'ai un projet sur le feu pour un échange sur le groupe Facebook, mais c'est pour début mai alors on a le temps d'en reparler...

Let's continue with Spring pieces...
Even if outside, as they forecast it on TV, Spring has already abandoned us !
Some weeks ago I stitched another design from my book Japan in Cross Stitch...
A cherry tree flower
As it was for Kate and that it reached her last week, I can now show you =)
With Super Half (who is celebrating his birthday today...Happy birthday Hubby =D) we have the wish to go to Japan and to see by ourselves the cherry trees in full bloom...
But I think we will have to wait a little and save money too !

I wanted to send a little something to Kate, and read a day on her blog that she had enough little pillows, hehehehe, it gave me a clue, and I decided to make her a pouch then =D
Yes, I know...another pouch =)
Can't help sewing zips now... I almost find it's the easiest thing to sew ! Am I crazy ? 
It's the first time I used iron-on interfacing, maybe this is why it has the right shape I wanted to give it..
I think this pouch arrives first in my own rating of the pouches I already made !
Small and cute =)

I have another project for a pouch , but it's for an exchange on the Facebook group in May...so we have time to think about it and before May I'll have other pieces to show you of course

Un air de printemps

Depuis dimanche, le printemps semble montrer le bout de son nez...mais il fait encore très froid...et en prime il parait que ça ne va pas durer !
Quoiqu'il en soit, histoire de mettre un peu de printemps et de couleurs aux environs, j'ai fait une petite grille gratuite que j'ai trouvée sur ce site ...
Il y en a quelques unes très mignonnes , mais celle ci et une seconde que je n'ai pas encore terminée, ont particulièrement retenu mon attention

C'est déjà petit à la base et comme je l'ai brodée sur de la toile 7 points c'est vraiment riquiqui =)
Je l'ai montée sur un petit coussin , tout simple, qui est parti dans le sud de la France chez une autre amie brodeuse.
Le tissu que j'ai utilisé était un coupon offert par Rita encore =)
Une fois de plus il était parfait pour le motif...

Ce dimanche nous avons reçu les parents et les Grands mères pour un petit repas d'anniversaire ... et une de mes Grands mères m'a offert une orchidée, qui, il n'y a pas d'autre mot était vraiment parfaite pour moi =)
En plus d'être belle, elle a des fleurs... avec des papillons ! Excellent non ?  =)

A shy Spring has been with us since Sunday...
It's still very cold outside (4° only yesterday afternoon) but it's sunny, and we have to enjoy this because it seems that it won't last !! Can you believe that snow is forecast again !!
Definitely fed up with this tooooooo long winter ...
That's why I want to put some Spring and colours here around =)
First, have you seen the picture of my new orchid ?? 
My parents and Grandmas came on Sunday for a small birthday celebration and one of my Grandmas offered me this orchid that is really perfect for me =)
Amazing natural and perfect butterflies drawn in each flower !
I really love this new orchid =)

Then , I found on this French blog, some cute, easy and quick to stitch freebies.
I made two, but one is not finished yet.
Here is the first I made for a friend in the south of France

It's a very small design and I stitched it a 14 counts fabric so it's really small =)
It only measures 6cm ...
I made a little pillow with a piece of blue fabric I received from Rita last year, once again this fabric you offered me Rita was perfect for my project =)
I first wanted to add ribbons but finally decided to make it in a very simple way
My friend loves it =)

Echange de Pâques

C'est le printemps aujourd'hui ...
Mais uniquement sur le calendrier !!!
Dehors il fait -2° et il neige !! Moins que la semaine dernière mais ça tient un peu ...
La semaine dernière mon échange de Pâques sur le blog des fans de Margaret Sherry est arrivé en Allemagne =)
Judith m'a envoyé des très gentils mots à réception de mon échange, elle a vraiment beaucoup aimé...

J'avais choisi , une fois n'est pas coutume, une souris =D
Une partie de la scène d'avril du calendrier Margaret Sherry 2013 que June m'avait offert
N'est elle pas parfaite pour l'échange de Pâques ? =D
Je l'ai brodée sur du lin, et j'ai choisi de la finir en petit panier en feutrine ... en forme d’œuf =)

Je vous laisse deviner qui m'a coupé la feutrine de cette façon =D

Une belle petite création qui a fait énormément plaisir, c'est génial =D
Au final, je suis partie dans les souris de Margaret Sherry en ce début d'année... ! (entre autre)
Je viens de terminer Washing Line et j'en suis tombée raide amoureuse ... mais je vous les montrerai un peu plus tard =D

It's Spring today...but only on the calendar...
It's -2° outside and it's snowing !! Not as much as last week, but the fields around here are a bit white
Really fed up with this never ending winter !!!
But let's speak about Spring anyway =)
Last week, my Easter exchange on the MS Lovers blog, arrived in Germany =)
Judith wrote so kind words when she received it that it made my eyes wet and she really touched my heart. 
I'm so happy she loved my parcel this way...
It's not everyday, hehehe, but I chose a mouse =D

It's a part of the April scene, in the MS 2013 calendar that June offered me =)
Isn't she perfect for the Easter exchange ?? 
I stitched her on light purple linen and decided to make a basket, for the Easter chocolates of course, so I made it in an egg shape ...
Guess who cut the felt this way ? No need to say =D
It's a great exchange again, with real beauties...thank you Nia for organizing them 
Each time it's fun =)
I can't wait to see the other pieces....

It seems that finally I'm in a mice period again, sorry, I can't help... =D
I finished Washing Line 2 days ago and I must admit I totally felt in love with this stitching !!

Notre SAL...

L'an dernier un commentaire de Carol faisant référence à Annette , Nia et moi comme étant plus ou moins  les '3 terribles'...nous a inspiré une SAL ensemble .... =D
Nous avons cherché un petit moment et nous nous sommes décidées pour ces 4 dessins d'Helga Mandl que nous allons donc faire chaque trimestre....

ça sonne plutôt noël , mais avec le temps que nous avons eu la semaine dernière c'est limite hors saison !!
La première partie est terminée et chacune de nous aujourd’hui va pouvoir poster sa broderie =)
Je n'ai rien changé au dessin , juste pris pour les fourrure des bonnets le fils un peu 'moumouté' que m'avait offert Anne à Noël plutôt que du simple blanc....

J'ai choisi un lin couleur ciel, et le flash de l'appareil photo le rend un peu plus clair qu'il ne l'est normalement.
L'idée de départ était de faire une guirlande avec des boules en tissu que nous aurions fait nous même, mais au final, les pièces terminées vont être trop grandes...j'ai donc changé mes plans, et je vais faire une petite nappe pour ma table de salon, avec les 4 broderies, et sous chacune d'elle Joyeux Noël brodé en Français, Portugais, Néerlandais   et la langue qui nous unie toutes les 3 l'Anglais....
Il faudra attendre la fin de l'année pour voir le tout terminé =D
La seconde partie doit être terminée pour le 30 juin...d'ici là il y aura eu d'autres croix à vous montrer...

Our SAL...Annette...c'est ici

Our SAL... Nia .... c'est ici

Around Xmas last year, Carol made a comment about Annette, Nia & Me ... and we immediately made a kind of film in our head, imagining us as the 'terrible 3' at the end of the class room hehehehe...it inspired us a lot and we decided to make a SAL together (Thank you Petite Anne for this great idea =D)
We searched a while for the perfect designs to stitch and felt agree on these 4 Helga Mandl charts.
One per quarter this year (not trimester Nia =D) , it sounds Xmas but with the weather we had last week here it's not crazy =)
The first part is now finished for the 3 of us and we can show you today.
I didn't change anything except for the bonnets, instead of DMC white, I used the Whisper thread Anne offered me for Xmas

Pictures are not very good because of the bad weather we are having, and the flash slightly changed the colour of the fabric... I chose a sky blue linen, 14 counts
I really enjoyed this stitching
First my idea was to make a garland with the 4 stitchings , with baubles we would have made out of fabric ...but they are too big :-/
I had to change my mind ! 
I finally decided to make a table cloth , with under each piece Merry Xmas stitched in French, Portuguese, Dutch and English of course as it is the language that links us =D
But you will have to wait till the end of the year to see it 
Next part must be done before June the 30th...till then you will see lot's of stitches here , I have lot's of pieces to show you !!

Le printemps en Sibérie !

Depuis lundi...il neige !!
on a tout eu, du blizzard , des flocons énormes, du verglas, des congères...et presque 40cm de mesuré dans le jardin maintenant !
Mais où est le printemps !!!

Tour le nord de la France est touché et c'est assez impressionnant.
Beaucoup de routes sont fermées, un nombre incalculable de personnes a été bloqué dans les voitures pendant des heures....
La Sibérie...en pire !

C'est normalement la route qui mène de mon village au village voisin !
et les appuis de fenêtre...ça vaut le détour aussi !

Espérons tout de même que cela s'arrange rapidement....
Pas de croix pour ce post =)

Maybe some of you saw on TV or heard about this...but North of France is under a terrible weather !
It has been snowing since Monday morning now !
We had everything ! Hails, tons of snow (we now have 40cm in our garden !) , very cold wind that created huge snowdrifts, black ice...and it's still snowing !
I think I never saw that !!
Lot's of roads are closed, you can see on the 2nd picture, the road that links my village to the closer one !
And can you believe the 3rd picture is a one made this morning of the window sills !
Lot's of people have been blocked in their cars on the motorways for hours, one of our friends stayed 18 hours in a Red Cross refuge on the road !

This is definitely not Spring ! It's Siberia ! 
And a better weather is not forecast for the moment ....
I have no stitches to show you today, I just wanted to share with you these (I find) amazing pictures

As I joined several exchanges, I didn't find the time to make several pieces for Easter ...
But I have one.... =D
And as I didn't know to who I would send it, I wrote on small papers 12 names of sweet friends here living in Europe because I want this little piece to arrive on time for Easter....

And I asked Hubby to chose one =)
Don't worry friends of the overseas, I found it was great fun and I'll surely do this again soon... 
But this time the name that came out of the bowl is....
