Encore des cadeaux....

Noël est reparti dans ses cartons au grenier et va patiemment attendre de revenir l'année prochaine =)
Mais la boite aux lettres, elle,  a continué de se remplir...
Mon échange de Noël avec les fans de Margaret Sherry est (enfin) arrivé...
Enfin parce qu'il aura mis presque un mois  pour venir frapper à la porte, je pensais même que mon Père Noël secret était à l'autre bout du globe...mais pas du tout puisqu'il était en fait en Allemagne !
Voilà donc ce que j'ai reçu de Judith :

Une très jolie panière avec une non moins jolie et très grande pièce brodée =)
Et puis les petits cadeaux qui vont avec
Un très gros merci encore à Judith. Un cadeau même quand il arrive après la date ça fait toujours plaisir =D

Des vœux sont aussi arrivés d'Australie,  de la part de Noni, accompagnés par un superbe marque page en dentelle que son mari, Mark a fait tout spécialement pour moi =)

N'est ce pas qu'il est superbe ? et tout spécialement pour moi ? =)
Mille mercis à tous les 2.

Et puisqu'on parle de marque page...j'en avais fait un pour offrir à Noël , pour un fan de BD mais surtout de Tintin... mon parrain  =)

Tout le monde aura surement reconnu la fameuse fusée d'On a marché sur la lune

Christmas is now finished, the decorations have gone back in their cardboards (except the seasonal shelf one...it is still winter....) and will patiently wait until next Christmas...
But Mister postman kept continued to be busy and haven't worn off his Santa's costume yet =D
I finally received my Xmas exchange organised on the Margaret Sherry lovers blog....
I say finally because we don't know why it took so long to arrive here as it was 'only' coming from Germany ! 
Another mystery of the post offices !
Anyway, I was very happy to receive this parcel and to open each little wrapping =)
Judith spoiled me with many beautiful goodies and this wonderful stitched piece that she finished as a beautiful basket  

Thank you so much once again Judith.
A gift even after the date is always a great occasion to do a happy dance =)

I also received wishes from Australia, from sweet Noni and her husband Mark
He made me this amazing lace bookmark 

Isn't it amazing ? perfect and just for me
Thank you so much again to you both, I really love my Book'Mark' and now I really have to read a book this year =)

As we are speaking about bookmarks, let me show you the one I did for my Godfather as his Xmas gift.
He is a great fan of comics and especially Tintin (just like me, I'm a great fan of Captain Haddock, I don't like comics but Tintin is an exception =D Such an exception that I even have them in English...)

 
Those who know Tintin surely recognise the famous rocket from Explorers on the moon on the first picture.
Here is the  confirmation =)

Before leaving and saying you that I'll be back very soon with other stitches...made for Xmas gifts or not...I want to tell you that sometimes I can't answer you by mail to some comments here, because as some friends already mentioned it , if you have changed to Googgle+ your mail address is now a 'non reply' one in the notifications I receive :-/

Un petit soulier bien rempli =)

J'espère que tout le monde a passé un Joyeux Noël :)
Pour nous il aura été très bon, trop court comme toujours...
Au pied du sapin beaucoup de cadeaux, mais avant de parler des cadeaux 'fait main' offerts pour l'occasion...les cadeaux reçus
Et oui...encore.... =)

Père Noël est d'abord arrivé des États Unis
Carol m'a envoyé ce diagramme de Lizzie Kate, des aiguilles à broder et un petit ruban de saison

Un des 12 de la série Jingles ... il va falloir se retenir de ne pas craquer sur les autres maintenant =)

L'an prochain sur l'étagère de saison il y aura pour sûr cette petite déco !

Père noël a ensuite fait un détour par l’Italie. et quel détour !! Je ne vais surement pas lui en vouloir !

I hope everybody had a great Christmas ... here we had =)
It has been a too short day as usual , but we had a great family time and I have been spoiled !
Before speaking of the hand made gifts offered that very day, I want to show you what still arrived in the letter box =)

Santa made a detour by the USA and brought me a beautiful card from Carol , together with needles, a lovely ribbon and...a chart from Lizzie Kate
Can't you see my happy face from where you are ? =D 
It's one of the 12 'Jingles' and now...it will be difficult to not succumb to the 11 others =)
Thank you so very much again Carol for this beautiful gift you made me.
For sure, next Winter there will be another cute ornie on the seasonal shelf ...

Then Santa made a detour by Italy. And what a detour again !

I received it from Isabella (with so many beautiful goodies !!! Look at these beautiful fabrics ! Thank you once again my sweet friend) and it will soon need another home for its next step around the world =D

I started it this weekend and I will draw a name next Monday... ho my... next year in fact :)

Joyeux Noël

Vive le vent, vive le vent , vive le vent d'hiver...
Vraiment de saison !!!
Cette tempête est est bien là, depuis hier soir mais heureusement à part une tuile de dégagée et le trampoline des voisins qui s'est écrasé dans le jardin rien de bien méchant à signaler pour le moment....
Dernier post avant Noël donc pour vous montrer ce que j'ai fait et envoyé à Julie pour l'échange de noël sur le blog des fans de Margaret Sherry .

Des petites souris provenant du livret offert avec le numéro 184 de Cross Stitch Crazy =D
Le but étant de faire une décoration de sapin, un peu de feutrine, de la cordelette, des grelots....

et hop hop hop , un ornement pour le sapin...version 'notre équipe' , merci encore Super Moitié =D
Associé à quelques cadeaux , le paquet est bien arrivé et a fait très plaisir....
Je n'ai pas encore reçu le paquet envoyé par mon père noël secret , mais je sais que ça me fera plaisir quand même , même après Noël =)
Prochain échange surement au printemps.

'Jingle Bells' translated in French is a song speaking about the winter wind...!
And we definitely have the wind !!!
What a tempest we are having ! For the moment only tiles felt from the roof and strange objects coming from the neighbourhood (understand a big trampoline !) landed in the garden...but for the moment nothing too bad to be declared here  !
Only a very short night....

So a last post before Christmas to show you what I made for Julie , for the Xmas exchange on the Margaret Sherry lovers blog.
I chose mice (of course...) from the free booklet 'Xmas Cuties'  that came with the issue 184 of Cross Stitch Crazy.
Just as for the moose last time... thick felt, ribbon, bells...and here is a little ornament =)

Once again thank you so much to Super Half for this little cute ornament he made =)
I only stitched the mice ! He did the rest...
I added some goodies of course, the whole reached Julie very quickly and she was very happy, so I was too =)

I still haven't received the parcel from my secret Santa, but I'm sure I'll have a happy dance even after Christmas =D

I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and I do my best to come back before next year

Noël Noël

Alors que Noël se rapproche de plus en plus , on s'attend à une tempête dans les heures qui viennent..
Le vent commence a bien monter déjà...et j'aurai vraiment préféré un noël blanc !
Quoiqu'il en soit, c'est tout de même le moment de montrer quelques croix, les miennes mais aussi des croix reçues en cadeau =)

Tout d'abord une petite déco de sapin réalisée pour Angel.

Une chouette, encore =)
A broder beaucoup de chouettes elles vont bien finir par me porter chance !

Et puis une fois de plus le facteur s'est transformé en père Noël et m'a apporté de jolis cadeaux 
Il est gentil ce facteur =D
D'abord des jolis diagrammes de Little House Needleworks reçus de la part de Nia
Ils ont tous deux rejoint ma liste des 'à faire' pour 2014.... Merci beaucoup Nia =)

Et c'est aussi Rita qui m'a gâtée.
Un superbe paquet est arrivé, entièrement fait main ! la boite en carton et la carte !

On n'a presque pas envie d'ouvrir tellement c'est beau =)
Mais la curiosité l'a très vite emporté....
Encore mille mercis Rita pour ce très joli cadeau

Cette très jolie décoration a rejoint les petites pièces dans l'entrée, sur mon étagère qui est maintenant bien remplie (c'est la dernière photo tout en bas =D)
J'ai aussi terminé ma dernière partie de la SAL avec Annette et Nia, la quatrième.

Un vrai plaisir cette SAL. ça ne devrait normalement pas me manquer puisque nous sommes déjà en train de penser à une nouvelle pour l'an prochain =D
Je n'ai malheureusement pas eu le temps de faire le montage que je voulais avant Noël mais ce sera prêt pour le prochain hiver...

Hello my dear friends =)
I hope everybody is fine and not in a hurry with Christmas approaching...
Here we definitely won't have a white Christmas. I would have preferred ! 
Instead of snow we are now preparing for a tempest, winds are forecast at about 140km/h  and they said on TV that's going to be terrible :-/
Let's cross fingers nothing bad happens.
Staying warm with a cup of coffee it's time to show you some stitches =)
Here above, the last part of my SAL with Nia & Annette.  It has been lot's of fun and we are already thinking at another one for next year =D
Unfortunately I didn't find the time to make the finish I wanted before Xmas, but I'll do it soon and it will be ready for next winter.

A small freebie found here, at Holly's hobbies

I finished it as a small ornament that went to Angel.
It seems I made the good choice as Angel loves owls =D
Stitching so many owls will surely end by bringing me some luck =)

Then Mister Postman wore his Santa's costume again and brought me beautiful things.
First you saw charts from LHN that Nia kindly sent me.
They are both on my to-do list for next year =)
I love them both. Thank you so much again sweetie.

And another sweetheart spoiled me. It's Rita. I received this wonderful parcel you've seen, with only pieces hand made by sweet Rita !

Ho ho ho ...

On est en plein dedans, le compte à rebours vers Noël est enclenché !
Le sapin a été décoré ce weekend, les décorations prennent place un peu partout.... et il y en a une petite nouvelle =)
J'ai craqué pour ce cerf , une grille gratuite de Elk trouvée ici

Je le trouvais trop rigolo pour ne pas le faire =)
L'an prochain je m'attaque à son compère avec une chouette sur les bois à la place des oiseaux...
Mais si vous vous voulez la faire cette année elle est disponible ici.

Et puis le facteur a déjà mis sa tenue de noël et commence à apporter ses cadeaux =D
D'abord Angèle qui m'a fait cette adorable petite chaussette de noël avec un hérisson de Margaret Sherry

Elle a trouvé sa place dans notre entrée accrochée à ma petite étagère =)

C'est Kate aussi qui m'a envoyé cette carte faite main avec une petite souris sur une bûche de Noël.

Countdown to Christmas has now begun...and maybe just like me you are now in a hurry =)
We decorated our tree last week end , and decorations, handmade or not, are slowly finding their places. 
I made a new one =)
I stitched this funny reindeer by Elk that you can find here. 
There are 2 different and I chose to stitch first the one with the birds. next year I'll stitch the one with the owl, available here

This time I wanted a very simple finish , just an ornament to be put on the table near the poinsettia.
I stitched it on aïda that looks like linen =)

And as you surely saw, Mister Postman wore on his Santa's costume and brought me some lovely gifts.
My sweet friends know me very well and sent me the loveliest stitched pieces.
First the rodents , with the beautiful card Kate made me. 
Isn't that fellow on the Xmas log very funny ?
Thank you again Kate, our new friend is feeling cosy here now =)
And Angel made me this very beautiful stocking with a Margaret Sherry hedgehog 

So cute too =)
It's already hanged in the entry hall. With such a beautiful stocking , for sure Santa won't forget me this year =)
Many thanks again Angel. (no my friends, no use to click on her name to reach her blog...she hasn't any for the moment ... I'm working hard but still haven't succeeded in convincing her :D love you sweetie)

Destination Angleterre ...

Le diagramme voyageur reçu il y a quelques jours va repartir cette semaine et sa nouvelle destination sera l'Angleterre =D
J'ai terminé la broderie mais pas encore décidé comment j'allais la monter !
Un peu plus automnale qu'hivernale... je verrais plus tard...d'abord il y a Noël à préparer :)

Et puisque je ne reste jamais désœuvrée bien longtemps, entre une broderie qui doit rester secrète pour le moment et cette grille voyageuse ... j'ai eu le temps de faire un tout petit quelque chose
Un petit pingouin tout mimi avec son bonnet péruvien qui se balance désormais au rétroviseur de la voiture de super moitié :)

La photo ne l'avantage pas trop, mais j'ai utilisé une chute de lin bleu ciel...
A très vite pour la suite !

A quick hello today to announce the new destination of the travelling pattern =)
I finished the stitching last week but still haven't decided how I want to finish it !
As it's a bit 'autumnal' I will decide later and first finish all the Christmas projects....
I changed the colour of the flowers. They should be light brown but I made them red.
Just because when they were all stitched I realised I made a mistake and stitched them in red =D
As I found they were beautiful this way I let them in red =D

So who's next ? =)
You were only 2 to want & stitch it, so I used the simplest number generator ever... I tossed it up !

And it is Andrea at the Craft Room who won with the heads side of the coin =D

As you saw , between a stitched piece that has to remain secret for the moment and this travelling pattern I just had time to stitch a little ornament =)
It comes from the last special issue of Just Cross Stitch for Christmas (I'm the lucky owner of a digital version of that terribly wonderful issue :D Couldn't resist)
It is called Yellow Penguin and was designed by Casey Buonaugurio

Mine is more Blue Penguin than Yellow as I stitched it on a small scrap of blue linen =)
Isn't he cute with his Peruvian bonnet ? 
He is now hanging at the rear-view mirror in Super Half's car =D

Les Blouses Roses

La maman d'une amie, de ma Copine même , avec un grand C ( =D) fait partie de l'association des Blouses Roses qui 'a pour mission de distraire les malades de tout âge, du bébé à la personne âgée, par des activités ludiques, créatives ou artistiques'.
N'hésitez pas à cliquer sur le lien pour plus d’informations ...

L'important ici aujourd’hui c'est que pour faire grossir la cagnotte de l'association afin de mieux aider les gens qui sont à l'hôpital, un marché de noël est organisé tous les ans avec en vente des créations faites main ... c'est toujours mieux quand c'est fait main =)

J'ai donc décidé de faire 3 décorations de Noël pour les offrir à l'association et leur permettre de rapporter quelques sous.

Les 3 sont des grilles gratuites trouvées sur le net.
La première , Falala est disponible ici.

La seconde, Joyeux Noël , est une création de Maryse, disponible ici.
Normalement monochrome, moi j'y ai apporté un peu de couleur =)

La dernière est un modèle créé par Carmela, En rouge et blanc, disponible ici, et que j'ai décidé de broder sur du lin vert
J'en ai trouvé après du vert plus foncé qui fait encore plus noël... mais déjà le rendu est joli et il a eu du succès =)

Du tissu, des rubans , des boutons... et 3 petits coussins ornements de Noël que je vous laisse découvrir plus bas.

My best friend Mum here, belongs to an association called 'Les Blouses Roses' (the Pink Coats) which helps people at hospital from babies to elderlies , by organising playful, artistic or even creative activities.

In order to gather money to support the association,  they organise every year a Christmas market, where they sell DIY pieces. I then decided to create and offer 3 stitched pieces to help the association gathering some money =)

I chose 3 freebies found on the net. First one Falala (that some of you already stitched) is available here. 
The second one is a chart created by Maryse and available here.  

Originally a monochome design, I decided to add some colours and stitched it on red fabric.
Then the 3rd one is a design called In Red and White by Carmela, that you can find here. 
I chose to stitch it on green linen. 

 I found a dark green linen that is 'more Christmas' but too late, the tree was already stitched...
Then, what to do ?
 Ribbons, fabrics,buttons and of course Christmas ornaments =D

Those little pieces are a delight to stitch ! 
And thank you to the designers for the free charts !

I was really happy to do this good deed and I hope the association will gather some money with these 3 pieces.
Next year I'll do some others and I hope more than 3...

This week end I'll draw a new destination for the travelling pattern...so I'll be back soon.
