Spécial filles

Le SWAP 'spécial filles' organisé par Sandra sur le groupe Facebook est en cours...
Les colis mystères commencent à arriver et le mien , parti pour Bordeaux début de semaine est arrivé aujourd'hui =D
Jo, ma partenaire qui ne savait que c'était de moi qu'elle allait recevoir le colis, a beaucoup aimé ma création ainsi que les cadeaux 'rien que pour les filles' qui allaient avec et la surprise a été totale =D
C'est une bonne récompense de savoir que son travail est largement apprécié

Maintenant je peux donc vous montrer Glamour Puss de Margaret Sherry qui fait très... 'spécial filles' non ? =D
Je l'ai monté sur un petit sac en Liberty , petite bourse de fille et comme Jo adore le bleu j'ai fait la part belle au bleu....

Un nouveau secret révélé =D
Et très vite un autre.....qui j'espère fera aussi plaisir !

J'ai reçu mes fils pour la SAL mystère, obligée de les commander en Italie !
Sur un site super et pas trop cher mais en Italie quand même
Je vais pouvoir m'y attaquer !

I signed some weeks ago for a SWAP organised on my French Xstitch Facebook group...

Gifts started to arrive this week and my parcel arrived by my partner this morning =D

So I can show you one of my secret goal

The tittle of the SWAP was 'only for girls', so I decided to stitch Glamour Puss from Margaret Sherry which in my opinion is really 'only for girls' no ? =D

I knew by the quiz we had to fill in before the SWAP begins, that my partner loves the blue colour so I chose a large part of blue things , even the fabrics =D

A great pleasure again to stitch this piece and a wonderful reward as my partner loved my work very much and the gifts I sent her =D

Woooo happy dance 

Another secret has been revealed =D

Another one very soon, and I hope this one also will pleased the recipient ....

It's a good day, I'm happy , even if the sun is playing hide and seek with huge storm clouds !!!

I received the threads I ordered on Casa Cecina website (this site is wonderful !) , for the Mystery SAL...

Then I'll start and soon I'll be able to show you my progress

Encore un canard =)

Je vous disais l'autre jour que Rita avait bien choisi son dessin de Margaret Sherry pour l'échange d'été... et pour cause... j'ai choisi de faire le même pour Olli =)
Maintenant qu'Olli a reçu mon cadeau et qu'elle l'a posté sur son blog je peux à mon tour vous montrer ce que j'avais fait...
La barre était placée bien haut encore, il a fallu assurer =)

J'ai choisi cette petite chose en carton au départ prévu pour y mettre un bloc notes

On l'a recouverte de serviette en papier mais le résultat était affreux !!
Hop hop hop on annule tout on recommence ! On va la recouvrir de tissu =)
(enfin ma moitié l'a recouverte de tissu =D Merci encore...)
De tissu, de ruban et de feutrine dedans dessous....

Remember the other day I said Rita well chose her design for the Summer exchange ?? =)

hehehehe, it's only because I chose the same for Olli....

Now that she has received it and posted it on her blog I can show you =)

I chose a little something in cardboard made for note pads...

I first wanted to covered it with paper towels using decopatch method, but the result was really really awful !!!

Had to start from the beginning, why don't we cover it with fabric ??

Once again I have to thank Hubby who covered it with fabric, ribbons, felt .... to give life in 2 hours to this coasters holder =D

He also made the signs with small wood pieces =)

I just stitched the Swimming duck and of course the most important thing of the creation I also had the idea, hehehehe =)

It's really summer no ? =)

I'm happy Olli enjoyed it and the gifts I sent ♥♥

A great exchange again , and everything has not arrived yet !

C'est encore noël

Ho oui c'est encore Noël !
J'ai reçu mon échange d'été de la part de Rita et je me demande encore comment un si petit colis pouvait contenir autant de trésors =)
Des trésors oui, tous emballés avec le plus grand soin

Mais d'abord je vous montre sa broderie =)

Un anniversaire, un merci ... 2 cartes

Je ne peux toujours pas vous montrer la progression de mon Somebunny.... =)
Pourtant avec ce magnifique temps dont nous bénéficions encore j'en profite pour bien progresser !!

Mais j'ai quand même 2 petits quelque choses à poster aujourd'hui =)

Tout d'abord un anniversaire...une carte...
En changeant un peu les couleurs du cerf volant (elles étaient normalement aux couleurs du drapeau anglais, mais pour une petite fille de 11 ans je trouvais que ça ne le faisait pas) , j'ai fait la petite souris de Margaret Sherry , le kit offert avec le n°163 de Cross Stitch Crazy.

Et puis souvenez vous, le jubilé à Londres il y a 15 jours =)
Pendant que nous patientions sous la pluie et dans le froid nous nous sommes fait des amis d'un jour, des londoniens, qui n'ont pas pu prendre une seule photo de la parade....
Nous avions échangé nos cartes de visite et leur avons envoyé toutes nos photos...et ils nous ont eux tout gentiment envoyé 2 journaux avec des photos incroyables parus le lendemain,  ainsi que le CD du concert de Paul Mc Cartney du lundi soir à Buckingham !
N'est ce pas super gentil ??!!

 

Un merci...une carte
Je me suis empressée de leur faire une carte de remerciement 
J'ai trouvé dans le n°185 de TWOCS une petite Reine toute mimi qui fait parfaitement l'affaire pour ce merci  =)
Je remarque juste à la photo un trait de pliure de la toile mal repassée :-/
(Audrey...si tu passes par ici, ça va te rappeler quelque chose =D)

Au final...une belle journée non ? =)

A birthday, a thank you... 2 cards =)

Indeed ! I can't show my WIP of Somebunny, but I can tell you that with the wonderful weather we have I'm well progressing !! (We have a wonderful grey June sky, never seen before !!!)

But anyway, I can show you the 2 cards I made.

The first is for a friend's daughter, she will be 11 this week and I stitched her the flying kite mouse from Margaret Sherry

I just changed a bit the colours of the kite, I know her enough to say that the Union Jack colours wouldn't have pleased her =)

The second one is a thank you card

Remember , London, The Jubilee....We made 'friends of a day' while patiently waiting 4 hours in the cold and rain !

They are from London, and as they didn't take pictures of the pageant , we exchanged our addresses at the end and we sent them our pictures =)

They were very happy

Today, I received something they said they would send me. And they sent us 2 newspapers issued the day of the pageant and the day after ,  as well as a CD of Paul Mc Cartney concert at Buckingham on the Monday following the pageant !

Isn't it so kind ??!!!

I immediately decided to stitch them a thank you card, and I found in my TWOCS #183 a cute Queen that would be perfect for that card =)

And I find her perfect =)

So even if sun is not here...isn't it a good day anyway ? =)

Summer cat

Finalement me revoici quand même aujourd'hui pour vous montrer ma réalisation du jour =D
J'ai terminé mon chat d'été du SAL3 du blog des fans de Margaret Sherry
Je suis en avance , c'était pour le 21 juin !
Je pensais juste ne pas avoir le temps de le monter cet après midi

Le chat de printemps avait fini sur un petit sachet de pot pourri..que faire du chat d'été ??
De la feutrine, du ruban, un bouton....

J'y ai réfléchi longtemps avant de penser que j'avais de très grosses lunettes de soleil (les lunettes de mouche ) que je ne savais pas où ranger (c'est surement à cause du fait que je n'ai pas l'occasion de les sortir souvent =D)
Hop hop hop , et si on en faisait un étui à lunettes ?? =D
Et voilà le résultat....
Bon la couture sur une telle épaisseur un peu hard, mais je suis contente tout de même =D
Reviens soleil, reviens...

Finally I come back here today to show you my last creation

I thought I wouldn't have time to finish it...but I had...so here is the Summer cat for the SAL#3 on the MS lovers blog =D

Deadline was for the 21st of June I'm not late =D

As I already made my Spring cat on a little scented bag,  I wanted to change a bit !

I remembered my sun glasses, big sun glasses (like fly eyes =D)  that I almost forgot just because I can't use them very often !!

They are always just like that in the drawer, with no case !

That's it ! 

A sun glasses case would be perfect for a Summer cat =D

So here is my sun glasses case , made 90% in Guimaraes Portugal =D

Indeed, except the felt I bought and the stitching I made, I used : 

- for the stitching the apricot coloured fabric which was in the stocking Santa Nia sent me

- the fabric, ribbon and butterfly button Nia offered me for my birthday 

 Isn't that great ? =D

Thanks again Nia for all those lovely gifts that were very useful today ♥♥♥

Colis secret arrivé et mauvaise nouvelle

Bonjour tout le monde

Je vous parlais il y a quelque temps de mon colis secret parti pour le Canada, et je sais aujourd'hui qu'il est arrivé.
Je vais pouvoir vous montrer ce que j'avais fait pour Pumpkin , même si je dois l'avouer je n'ai aucune joie à écrire ces quelques mots , ni aucune 'fierté' à vous montrer une réalisation supplémentaire

Mon amie Canadienne qui a accouché il y a environ deux mois vient d'être diagnostiquée d'un cancer des os =(
C'est une horrible nouvelle apprise ce matin, et elle m'a perturbée
Je suis comme en colère , après moi déjà d'avoir demandé tous les jours à voix haute toute seule où pouvait bien être passé mon colis et pourquoi mon amie ne donnait aucune nouvelle, et en colère contre la vie qui est décidément trop cruelle et injuste !
Junior n'a que 2 mois et voilà sa maman devant se battre pour vivre face à cette s.... de cancer =(
Même si le soleil est revenu le moral est un peu parti pour aujourd'hui =(
Je souhaite plein de courage à Pumpkin et lui envoie plein d'ondes positives pour pouvoir lui mettre une raclée à ce crabe

Remember the other day I was speaking about a last secret parcel ...

I knew today it well arrived , it well arrived in Canada and this parcel was for our friend Pumpkin

The fact is that I have no joy to share these words and pictures today with you =(

Pumpkin updated her blog and she did it with such a bad piece of news that I'm now angry against life and I think I'll have this feeling for a while !

Cruel life, unfair life !! 

I just want to send her positive waves, that's the only thing I can do

To say her that I'll think about her, that I'll make prayers for her and that I 'just' want her to be strong and to fight this crab as stronger as possible even if the road ahead will be long and hard

Fishing cat

Avec le jeudi férié et le pont qui a suivi je ne suis pas passée par ici très souvent :(
Occupée que j'étais à des tas d'autres choses et à passer du temps avec mon homme en congés =D

J'ai continué Winnie , j'ai bien commencé mon chat d'été et puis un nouveau projet secret...donc chut :)

Cependant un de mes colis secret est arrivé à bon port lui et maintenant je peux vous montrer...

Quelqu'un s'est inscrit et n'a pas respecté son engagement , sa partenaire ne lui a rien envoyé... !!!
Du fait, pour 'compenser' un peu ce manque j'ai décidé d'envoyer quelque chose =D
Un tout petit quelque chose à cause du manque de temps mais je sais que cela lui a fait très plaisir car la surprise était totale et qu'elle adore les chats =D
Elle avait beaucoup aimé le tissu que j'avais utilisé pour la boule à épingle de véro la dernière fois, alors je lui en ai refait une et voilà.... =D

Last Thursday was a blank day here again and since then, as hubby is on holidays I didn't come around here :-/

I have been too busy in the house !

I continued Winnie , and also my summer cat and started my last secret goal (for the moment =D) , my somebunny so can't tell or show anything...

Hoping my cousin won't read the English part, for those who know I started Sstory Time =D

One of my secret parcels arrived, and it well arrived in Australia, by Noni

It's fishing cat from Margaret Sherry, I made a small bag with it, and a pin cushion in the same fabric

I knew Noni enjoyed this fabric I used for the pin cushion I made for my friend the other day =D

This parcel was for the Spring Exchange on MS lovers blog.

Noni was not my partner at the beginning, but as her partner signed in for the exchange and didn't send anything....finding it was not fair....and wanting Noni to smile with us...I decided to make this little something =D

It's only a little something because time was missing to me, but anyway I put lot's of love in each stitch =D

This afternoon I'll make my pillow case with chickadees =D

 If somebody knows where the sun is hiding, please denounce him !!!

La journée de la souris =D

Hier était vraiment un grand jour pour moi, plein de surprises, de gentils messages, de cadeaux, de tas de choses qui font chaud au cœur =D
En prime c'était le jour de la souris !
Déjà la boite reçue de Nia , et puis ce kit de Margaret Sherry... suuuuuuper trop mignon

 et Amber a reçu ma carte pour l'échange de printemps.....
Je peux maintenant vous la faire découvrir =D
Pour la petite histoire , cette souris n'existe pas colorée, c'est juste un dessin au crayon que nous avons peint (enfin surtout mon homme :D) et après il a 'suffit' de le broder
Amber était super contente et c'est ce qui compte =D

I don't know how to do such great things as we saw during the exchange (and we haven't seen all the cards yet !!!) but this one was made with all my love and I took a real real pleasure in doing this exchange =D

I think she decided to get her revenge =D

The will was to make a special gift and it's a special gift ! A real treasure ! A wonderful cute thing that brought happy tears in my eyes and which made me dancing a happy dance alone, here =D

 Isn't it the cutest box ever seen ???!!!

I love purple, I love butterflies, I love mice....so what else ??!!!!!

Petit week end au point de croix....

Je devrais faire des photos du WIP de Winnie, il avance bien !
Mais en attendant le weekend a été varié !
J'ai fait un second coussin avec l'Union Jack Snail pour ma Léa  ♥
Le ruban est différent , c'est un de ceux que j'ai acheté en Angleterre,  et puis son expression est différente aussi....
J'ai également commencé un second biscornu avec des motifs celtes cette fois ci :)
Il devrait être plus petit que le 1er....
J'ai aussi fait une carte que je ne peux dévoiler tout de suite, tant qu'elle n'a pas atteint sa destination...
D'ailleurs Cheena (comme sa tante d'Afrique du Sud l'a surnommée) la cache bien comme il faut =D

I should post pictures of my Winnie's WIP, it's well progressing ! 

But meanwhile, here is what I did this week end !

I made another cushion with the union Jack Snail for my cousin Léa who kindly ask me to do her one after having seen mine =D

I took another ribbon, one of those I bought at the creative crafts show. Its 'face' is different from the 1st one

I also started another biscornu with a Celtic design :)

It will be smaller than the 1st but I think it will be nice

And I also made a card, but till it hasn't reach its destination I can't show you, besides, Cheena (as her aunt from South Africa nicknamed her =D) is well hiding it.....

Et puis au courrier est arrivé de la part de Lesley un superbe livre avec des Teddy bears de Joan Elliott
Ce livre est absolument magnifique, j'y ai déjà  repéré des oursons à faire =D
Merci encore à Lesley qui m'a gentiment envoyé ce livre quand elle a lu que je cherchais des oursons type Teddy bear pour le bébé de ma cousine....

C'est la St Valentin ...

...Ou on est juste le 14 février , au choix =D
Tout de même, Cupidon est passé et a apporté un très joli vase et des frésias qui sentent très bon, et qui mettent une touche de printemps dans cette journée grise !
Cupidon Bordelais a apporté le vase et les fleurs, Cupidon d'Afrique du Sud a envoyé une très chouette carte faite main, avec un magnifique poème à l'intérieur ...qu’égoïstement je garde pour moi =D

St Valentine ... or just February the 14th...as you like it =D

Anyway, Cupid came and left a gorgeous  vase with smelling freesias (one of my favourite flower !) 

A touch of Spring it this rainy day ! 

'Hubby Cupid' brought flowers ....'Cucki Cupid' brought sun from South Africa =D

I received this morning a lovely handmade card, with an absolutely superb poem, that I selfishly keep for myself =D

Emotions again after the one of last week......!

And as nothing can stop me now, I decided to make a small cushion =D

My first !!

I still have progress to make with the sizes and sewing but really, I'm satisfied with the result for my first Cushion =D

I used one the charm which was in the Xmas stocking  =D
